Laitesukellusvaliokunta järjestää koulutusvastaavien webinaarin keskiviikkona 7.10.2026 kello 19-21 

Nykyiset, entiset ja tulevat koulutusvastaavat, ja koulutusvastaavan tehtävistä muutenkin kiinnostuneet ovat kaikki tervetulleita mukaan! Keskustellaan, vaihdetaan ajatuksia, kerrotaan oman seuran hyvistä käytännöistä, ja otetaan vinkkiä toisiltamme!

• Seuran turvallisuuskulttuuri ja kouluttajatiimin turvallisuustyö
• Seurojen koulutusyhteistyö
• Kouluttajakorttien uusiminen
• Ajankohtaiset asiat
• Keskustelunaiheeksi: Miten tämän vuoden uudet P1-sukeltajat ovat päässeet sukeltamaan?

CMAS Freshwater Biology -kurssi

CMAS Freshwater Biology Course

Date: 17.-18.10.2026

Place: Divetime Jyväskylä (Sysmäläntie 1, tila 32, 40530 Jyväskylä), from there we will drive to the dive location (~30-40 min driving time, possible to do car sharing)

Aim of the course:

The course should introduce divers to the freshwater life. Therefore, the course includes lectures, dives but also plenty of time to identify species observed during the dives. Creating knowledge on different species, their importance to the ecosystem and different processes in the ecosystem should help to raise awareness for freshwater ecosystems and to promote sustainable diving.

Prerequisites for participants

• age of 14 years
• CMAS * or equivalent
• valid medical statement Recreational Diving Medical Screening System - Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (uhms.org)

Costs: 150€

Participants need to bring their own diving equipment as well as enough breathing gas for 2 dives (each around 60 min and max 6-7 m deep). It is also possible to rent equipment form Divetime Jyväskylä (prices: www.divetime.fi) There is the possibility to refill tanks at Divetime (5-10€ per filling). Accommodation is not included in the course fee, but available e.g., from Riihivuoren lomakylä which is ~10 km away from Divetime (https://www.riihivuorenlomakyla.fi/muurame-city/). Please, bring enough food and drinks for the duration of the course. There is a coffee maker and a microwave available at Divetime. E-learning will be available through Sukeltjaliitto’s Dyykki platform.

After successful completion of the course, the participant will receive the CMAS Freshwater Biology certificate.
